Please note: In the event the race does not sell out, we reserve the right to move waves up in the time que to create a continuous race schedule, thereby ending the event earlier. Registration is $65 per person until April 30th; after that date, the cost is $75 until June 30th, $85 from July to Sept. 15th and $100 after Sept. 15th. Registrants must sign a medical waiver. All runners will receive a custom T-shirt (women’s sizes and cut; sorry guys, you can join us, but you’ll have to figure your sizes out just like women typically do for all other races), hand towel, princess crown and goody bag filled with offers and samples from participating sponsor businesses. A participants-only food tent will be open after completion of the race. Participants should expect to show up one hour before their scheduled wave. Parking will be off-site within a short walking distance to Mosquito Hill (location TBD). All should check in at registration and receive their T-shirt, hand towel, crown and goody bag. Runners should then move to the start line staging area where volunteers will assist in placing in appropriate waves. There will be no chip timing. Oh, dear, what to wear? Make it fun! Wear a costume for your chance to win a prize. Prizes will be announced the following Monday for best individual costume and best group costume. Winners’ pictures will be displayed on our Website and Facebook pages, earning full bragging rights as the fairest Warrior Princesses in all the land! Costumes or not, wear something you are OK with getting extremely dirty. The course features mud, water, rough terrain and pumpkin guts. Wear whatever you think will get you through as comfortably as possible. Spectators will not be allowed on the course, but a few of the obstacles are viewable for family members and friends attending with you. Concessions will be available for purchase before and during the race. Concession proceeds benefit Friends of Mosquito Hill. A DJ will play music for entertainment throughout the event. Photographers will be on the course taking pictures at various obstacles and will make those photos available for purchase within two weeks after the event. Any good Warrior Princess wants to see her crowning achievements captured on film, after all! A safe Warrior Princess is a happy princess! Trained medical personnel from New London Family Medical Center also will be onsite to assist with injuries/accidents. (Although true warrior princesses just rub some mud on their owies and move along!)
